Re-Roofs

Replacing the roof of an occupied building is always a customized project, engineered to meet the specific needs of your building. Greenwood Industries routinely replaces roofs on all classes of commercial buildings, including hospitals, 24-7 manufacturing plants, and other facilities where zero-tolerance for impacting operations within the building is the standard. Our team helps owner understand the existing conditions of a roof and design an effective replacement program.

Beyond engineering and design, the timing of roof replacement is also a strategic decision. When a roof is nearing the end of warranty, planning should begin, since leaving the roof vulnerable puts the entire building and the tenants within at risk. Owners preparing to sell often replace the roof to enhance the value of the asset. Improving the carbon footprint of a building with a roof-top solar power system or a sustainable green roof is a growing part of our roof-replacement business. Relocation of a top-floor tenant or replacing roof-top HVAC units are also strategic moments to consider roof replacement.

I want to recognize effort and commitment that we feel went above and beyond what we reasonably can expect from a subcontractor partner. Greenwood understood the importance and mobilized a crew in short notice. That crew committed to getting the work done and worked incredibly long shifts (15 & 18hrs) to get us across the finish line…This is the kind of subcontractor support we appreciate under these rare circumstances.

I wanted to thank you for the repairs today. Both times I have had you out for repairs your guys are very thorough. They let you know what’s going on and provide a detailed report after the fact! Could not be happier. Thank you!

For several years now, we’ve used Greenwood for all our roofing, waterproofing and building envelope repairs and maintenance.  It is a luxury to have a contractor that we can rely on as we have been able to do with Greenwood.  We have a single point of contact and nothing gets lost in communication along the way.  Our jobs are typically complex as the building is a 265,000 soft 100+ year old brick and beam mill.  From masonry and pointing to window caulking; parapet cap flashing to roof – we know we can rely on Greenwood to keep the building envelope water tight.  It helps me sleep during a howling Nor’easter.

I just wanted to reach out and thank you and the Greenwood Team for a job well done. As you and the team know, the May Street building’s roof is in very poor condition. We met with your team several times to brainstorm and configure the correct method to repair these leaks. It’s been several weeks and 2 major rainstorms since Greenwood finished the repair work and I’m happy to report dry conditions to all six effected offices.

I cannot thank you enough for the finish work you were able to pull off on my renovation project of the Immersive Design Center at the Andover campus. I was not sure who I was going to be able to turn to in order to fabricate and install the custom metal trim. No matter what the project is, I know I can always rely on you to get the work done and provide a quality end product.

From the first call that was made to your Service Department (as a new customer), to the technician calling to confirm his anticipated arrival time, and actually arriving at said time, to all of the repairs that were made at various roof leaks, to the follow-up call the next day to check on the performance of the repairs that were made and our satisfaction with your services.

As a Master Electrician who has worked in a Service Department/van for many years, and now as acting Facility Manager for DCAMM in one of the Commonwealth’s most critical buildings, it was refreshing to see some of the same respect, values, and professionalism displayed by your techs, that I remember from years past.
