Francis M. Leahy Elementary sits on a limited footprint and cannot fit a traditional playground outside of the school. Instead, a playground was installed on top of a Hydrotech roof system installed by Greenwood Industries. This plaza deck install won Sika’s Project of the Year Award for Waterproofing. Other sections of the roof are covered by a large Sarnafil system.
The Patrick Cadigan ’52 Family Foundation Wellness Center is a state of the art athletics and fitness center at Boston College High School. The new center is topped by a Greenwood installed Elevate TPO (link to the TPO page in Roof Systems) roof system. The building also features a large solar array to make the school more sustainable.
This public library features a very unique roof design. Its flat roofs are a built up roof system, but the building’s most interesting feature are its multiple steep slope metal roofs, (both re-roofed by Greenwood Industries.

A Boston icon, the New England Aquarium has been treasured by the region for decades. Greenwood re-roofed its low slope roofs with TPO as well as installing a paver deck.
The Goodnow Library is a picturesque public library in the hills of Princeton, MA. Greenwood re-roofed its main roof with slate to match its historic charm.
This quaint library was given a careful historic restoration. The slate roof was replaced and Greenwood’s metal team installed copper trim in the slate and wall panels inside the mechanical roof to give even that section a historic flavor.
Wellesley Free Library is a beautiful modern library. The facility features large Greenwood installed flat roofs but also steep slope asphalt shingle roofs to give it its striking profile.
