- Visual Inspection
- Review of information on the roof’s installation
After determining if a roof is eligible, we can often start on the restoration in under two weeks. On top of that, the roof restoration can be done in under a week. That’s a considerable time difference when compared to a complete re-roof!
Recently, GRS performed a roof restoration at Western Avenue Studios in Lowell, MA. One of the complex’s EPDM roofs was restored employing the following process:
- Prepping, priming, and re-flashing roof seams
- Identifying deficiencies around roof penetrations
- Topping off any pitch pockets with any gaps to fill around pipes
- Pinning-down heaving insulation
- Re-seaming all edge metal
