We take safety seriously at Greenwood Industries. We are guided by OSHA regulations and train our workers on a regular basis. It is important to review the basics and keep abreast of the newest technologies found in the marketplace today.
Greenwood Industries believes safety is the most important part of any job. Our safety department is committed to providing our workers with the resources they need to ensure a safe project. We hire some of the best third party vendors in the industry to train our workers in many specialty (crucial) areas of Sheet Metal and Roofing construction as well as having in house trainers for construction safety training sessions. In the past six months Greenwood has been conducting conducting OSHA 10 and 30 hour training.
Greenwood Industries also provides the following additional job specific safety training to include:
- OSHA 10
- Eight hour Aerial Boom & Scissor Lift Qualified Operator training
- Scaffold Competent Person training
- Fall Protection training
- Qualified (Cranes, Derricks and) Rigger/Tagger training (Signals)
- Federal fork truck operator training
- MA 1C2A Hoisting License training
- Single and Multi-person roof tie-off cart operator training
We also reward safe work practices with our Safety Incentive Program for our employees. Each quarter our company foreman nominates a safe employee and the names are drawn by a raffle. The winners receive a $50 Gift Card to Home Depot.
